We had dinner at Chinn’s. We got there about 7 p.m. It was crowded inside, but too scorching for anyone (especially us) to sit outside. MG ordered the Smashburger and I ordered the Stan pizza (sausage, mushroom and olive). I had a craft pilsner and MG had a Very Juicy cider from the Far West Cider company. Chinn’s always has a great beer selection.
The place was busy — and loud! At one point a group came in and were, it seemed, astounded to find another group there that they knew. The noise level went from loud to insanely loud.
Eventually, a couple arrived and there wasn’t any available seating. Chinn’s has these long tables, so we made room for them and still we weren’t crowded for space.
Our food took a bit too long to arrive. I blame it on my pizza. Smashburger was good, and pizza was quite good. The noise and the wait were annoying, but nothing so bad to keep us from returning.
